Core

Polymer Insulator consists of a Central Core, a high quality pultruded FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) rod. This rod is made with excellent alignment and distribution of ECR glass fibers dipped in epoxy resin. Core provides maximum mechanical strength and also gives electrical resistance.

Weathersheds and Housing

CORE is then covered with Silicone Rubber using state of art injection molding machine. This covering is called housing and sheds. Silicone weather sheds provides resistance from Pollution, UV and gives Anti-Tracking and Anti-Erosion properties.It also provides necessary Creepage.

End Fittings

Metal End Fittings are made of Forged Steel or Malleable Iron. All the fittings Exposed to Environment are galvanized and are then affixed to polymer rod with high precision crimping machine.
